Karen Dreyer (Practice Administrator) has worked in the Health Care field for over 33 years. She has earned an AA degree in Business Administration and over time, Karen has lived through the many changes that have occurred in health care. With all of this “on the ground” experience, she has gained much insight into how to effectively manage a medical practice. She has managed and consulted in multiple specialties and has an extensive background in medical billing and accounts receivable. Karen spent the last 10 years serving as the Business Office Manager for a large physician practice. We feel very fortunate to have Karen serving as our Practice Administrator.
Karen Drenner was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She has developed a tremendous amount of extremely valuable medical office experience having spent over 30 years following high school and continued college education working in medical practices throughout the Baltimore area. Over these years, Katie has developed a wonderful talent of being able to help patients on a more personalized level as they attempt to navigate through issues such as insurance benefits and the like. Her stellar background in customer service gives Katie the ability to provide our patients with quality compassionate healthcare assistance. Married with two adult children and an amazing grandson, Katie enjoys spending time with her family. We are very delighted to have Katie on our staff at Andrew Goldstone, M.D.---Ear, Nose and Throat. She is a true asset to our practice. We know that Katie looks forward to assisting you and/or your family members in any way that she is able.
Kim Wettengel - For the past 16 years Kim has been involved with managing various aspects of the administrative side of keeping a medical practice running smoothly (not an easy feat). She has worked with Dr. Goldstone for all of this time. Her years of experience have allowed her to obtain valuable skills and insight that can only be gained from navigating in an ever changing environment such as that which has continued to occur in the practice of medicine. Kim has been married to her husband for 28 years. She enjoys all outdoor sports and really loves bowling. Her dedication to doing her work in a perfect fashion is very appreciated by the rest of the office staff and by patients, as well.
Jackie Chattin - Many of you might already recognize Jackie as the smiling face of our reception area. Jackie offers a wealth of medical office experience. She has spent a total of 28 years in billing and front desk operations. Her experience started in general medical billing and later became more specialized in orthopeaedics and ENT. She is trained on ICD-10, CPT and Medical Terminology. Jackie is a native of Baltimore where she has raised her five children and nine grandchildren. Jackie says the most rewarding part of her job is connecting with the patients and making a difference.
Terry Tracey has worked, for the past 25 years, in the medical field. Her many years of interacting with patients has given her great experience both as a Certified Medical Assistant and also as a Medical Records expert. Born and raised in Maryland, Terry has two grown children and makes it very clear that she is married to her best friend! She enjoys spending her spare time with her family, which includes 3 cats, and friends. Her favorite past time is motorcycle riding. Terry is an integral part of the clinical aspect of our office. Her experience is valued by everyone. We are pleased to have her as our Medical Assistant.
Cathy Brown has now worked with Dr. Goldstone for over 16 years, answering the phone and working the check-in/check-out counters. Prior to shifting her career to the field of medicine, Cathy took on-the-phone shoe orders for Holabird Sports. With all of Cathy's experience from selling shoes to answering calls pertaining to the Ear, Nose & Throat, we like to say that Cathy has done her job “from head to toe.” In her free time, Cathy enjoys spending days with her husband of 11 years, her two daughters, and her five amazing grandchildren. At your next visit, keep an eye out for Cathy’s smiling face as she waves you down the hall to the checkout counter.
